A lawyer who admitted to padding billables to the tune of $1 million by falsifying complaints in asbestos cases was sentenced to two years in prison by a New Jersey federal judge.
Arobert Tonogbanua was handed the sentence May 5 by U.S. District Judge Noel Hillman of the District of New Jersey for fraudulently adding the names of clients to upward of 100 legitimate suits while a partner at the Haddonfield office of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote.
