An operator of 26 Domino’s Pizza franchises is accused in a federal suit of paying delivery drivers at an unlawfully low rate, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the New Jersey Minimum Wage Law.
Drivers’ compensation falls below federal and state minimum wage levels during some weeks after accounting for unreimbursed vehicle expenses and uniform purchases, according to a proposed class action filed in federal court in Camden.
