New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie on June 10 nominated Public Defender Joseph Krakora to a second five-year term.
Krakora has been the state’s public defender since June 28, 2011 and has been with the office since 1986. He has spent nearly his entire career with the Office of the Public Defender, which provides legal services for indigent criminal defendants, parents facing the loss of parental rights, children in cases involving termination of parental rights and in guardianship cases.
