Denise Sharperson joined the New Jersey State Bar Association last year as the director of diversity initiatives and assistant general counsel.

This month, the Profiles inDiversity Journal named her as one of its Women Worth Watching Award honorees. She is among 162 women selected as this year’s winners, including women from American Express, NASA and Walmart. A special edition of the journal featuring the honorees will be released in September.
