The chairman and chief executive officer of the New Jersey Civil Service Commission will receive $8.6 million in his Monmouth Count suit as compensation for his wife’s death in an automobile accident.

In Czech v. Lakeside Environmental Consultants, plaintiff Robert Czech agreed to the settlement with the carrier for defendant Lakeside Environmental Consultants of Southampton, Pennsylvania, and the driver of the company’s pickup truck, Daniel Boden, on March 28, said Czech’s lead attorney, Peter MacIsaac.
