Some acquittals require two decades to achieve. Perhaps in a crime drama or documentary, a new DNA test or some other evidentiary bombshell would be the magic key. In the case of Duquene Pierre, there was no true plot twist.
Pierre, convicted of taking part in an armed robbery that proved fatal, had his case dismissed just days ago by a Superior Court judge during a retrial.
