A New Jersey appeals court has overturned a pair of $9 million verdicts against Hoffmann-La Roche Inc. in suits by Accutane users who claimed they developed ulcerative colitis after taking the drug.
The Appellate Division on July 22 ruled that two evidentiary rulings made by the trial judge were sufficiently prejudicial to warrant a new trial.
