A child who sustained serious burns while under the care of a home health aide reached a $3.5 million settlement on June 29 in her suit, Thusi v. Personal-Touch Home Care Inc.

In January 2009, Sisana Thusi, then 9, was in her Montclair apartment, under the care of home health aide Marie Cadet, an employee of Bloomfield-based Personal-Touch Home Care, according to Thusi’s lawyer, Andrew Renda Jr. of Renda & Voynick in Cedar Grove.
