Bisgaier Hoff in Haddonfield welcomes Matthew Azoulay and Peter Flannery as it strengthens its boutique real estate practice. Azoulay, previously a partner with Dilworth Paxson in Cherry Hill, handles commercial transactions, financings, leases, asset sales and the structuring of entities for developers, contractors, nonprofits and banks. He also serves as outside general counsel for businesses. Flannery previously was of counsel with Sills Cummis & Gross in Princeton. He represents developers and redevelopers on land-use approvals, redevelopment designations and ordinances; appears before agencies and boards; and negotiates redevelopment and development agreements. Flannery also advises on tax exemptions and abatements, bond financing and New Jersey Economic Development Authority programs.

Fluhr Joins LeClairRyan

Philip Fluhr, formerly an assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago, has joined LeClairRyan as a partner in the firm’s premises liability and products liability teams. He will also work with the firm’s compliance, investigations and white collar team. Fluhr is based in the firm’s Newark office. Prior to his more recent engagements, he worked at Roseland-based Connell Foley, where he was heavily involved with the litigation and trial of catastrophic injury claims with a nationwide platform. He has also served in the active and reserve components of the U.S. Navy as a commissioned officer in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. A graduate of Loyola University New Orleans School of Law (J.D.) and the State University of New York at Binghamton (B.A.), Fluhr is admitted in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Illinois.
