Kaci Hickox, who was held in an isolation tent outside a Newark hospital for three days upon returning from a mission to an Ebola treatment center in October 2014. She was quarantined under a state Ebola preparedness plan when she arrived at Newark Airport on the way home from Sierra Leone. She was held in quarantine after Christie, who signed an executive order establishing the Ebola plan, defended the state’s measures at a news conference.
