Davison, Eastman & Muñoz in Freehold has named Matthew Blaine and Blake Laurence as partners. Blaine focuses his practice on business law and litigation, commercial law and employment law. And as chair of the firm’s technology and innovation committee, he spearheads the firm’s technological advancements. He joined the firm in 2009 following a clerkship with Judge Linda G. Baxter, Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division (2008-09). He received his J.D. from Rutgers Law School in 2008 and a B.A. in political science from Rutgers University in 2004. Laurence, a member of the firm’s tax and estate planning department, is experienced in all aspects of estate planning, administration, litigation, taxation, IRS tax issues, corporate transactions and landlord-tenant work. He joined the firm in 2006. He received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law and a Master of Laws degree in taxation from Villanova University School of Law. He obtained an undergraduate degree in finance from American University. Prior to joining the firm, he was a law clerk for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Brach Eichler Adds Three New Associates

Brach Eichler in Roseland adds three new associates to the firm. Nicole Medrozo and Reena Shah have joined the firm’s health law practice, and Nicole Sciotto has joined Brach Eichler’s business transactions and financial services group. Medrozo joins Brach Eichler from Rutgers University, where she most recently served as associate vice president and deputy chief of enterprise risk and compliance. She will focus her practice on health-care law, representing various health-care providers in corporate transactions and compliance matters. She joined the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, as a director and health-care compliance attorney, and served as an assistant prosecutor with the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. Medrozo was a law clerk for Judge Bette U. Uhrmacher in the Criminal Division of Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth Vicinage. She earned a J.D. from Pennsylvania State University, The Dickinson School of Law, a “mini M.B.A.” from Rutgers University and a B.A. in political science from Rutgers University. Shah joins Brach Eichler from Camacho Mauro Mulholland in New York City, where she was a partner. She will focus her practice on representing health-care providers, including physicians, medical practices, hospitals and ambulatory care facilities, involved in civil litigation and administrative actions pertaining to fraud allegations, reimbursement issues, and contract disputes. Shah previously served as a law clerk for Judge Jessica R. Mayer of the New Jersey Superior Court, Civil Division, in New Brunswick, and was a research analyst/associate for the Corporate Executive Board. She earned a J.D. from University of Maryland School of Law and a B.A. in international studies from Johns Hopkins University. Sciotto joins the firm from Mason, Griffin & Pierson in Princeton. She will focus her practice on commercial lending, commercial leasing and corporate transactional work. She previously held a position with the Delaware Court of Chancery in Wilmington, Delaware, where she was a judicial intern for Vice Chancellor Donald F. Parsons Jr. (retired). Sciotto earned a J.D. with honors from Delaware Law School at Widener University, where she was editor in chief of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, and earned a B.A. in journalism from Pennsylvania State University, University Park.
