On July 21, players from Cole Schotz in Hackensack and the Willie Uscher Allstars competed at Foschini Park, 278 River St. in Hackensack, in the 14th annual Willie Uscher Memorial softball game, held each year in memory of Hackensack attorney Willie Uscher. Uscher shared his joy for life with everyone who crossed his path, and when faced with cancer he shared his courage. By adopting a wish through Make-A-Wish New Jersey, Cole Schotz, local attorneys and Uscher’s family and friends have the opportunity to spread his joy, and honor his courage and spirit. This year the Willie Uscher Memorial Charity Softball Game raised over $4,000 for Make-A-Wish New Jersey.
