Citing a need to be competitive in recruiting freshly minted attorneys, McCarter & English has joined the ranks of law firms raising their first-year associate pay.
As of Jan. 1, McCarter & English will increase its starting salary to $150,000 from $135,000, the Newark-based firm said.
