In Martinez v. New Brunswick Board of Education, a former nurse for the New Brunswick school district will receive $2 million to settle claims that she was subjected to employment discrimination.

Plaintiff Rosa Martinez, 60, of Monroe, and the city’s board of education agreed to the settlement on Sept. 26, and the board gave its formal approval on Oct. 18, said Martinez’s attorney, Christopher Hager.
