This week Lowenstein Sandler became the latest law firm to adopt new parental leave policies and programs, as the national trend toward providing benefits in hopes of attracting and retaining talent continues.

“We are particularly proud to be removing distinctions in our policies that are based on an employee’s gender, their role at the firm, or whether they are becoming a parent through biology or adoption,” Gary Wingens, chairman and managing partner of Lowenstein Sandler wrote in an internal memorandum.
