After a weekslong trial, a New Jersey attorney was convicted March 30 by an Essex County jury of taking part in a mortgage fraud scheme that allegedly netted her and others about $875,000.
Stephanie Hand, 52, of Livingston, was found guilty in connection with a pair of bogus real estate deals for which she handled the closings, according to a release from the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office
