In a closely watched case, a New Jersey judge has lifted an order barring a local newspaper from reporting on a purported case of child abuse.
In a decision from the bench made public March 30, Mercer County Superior Court Judge Lawrence DeBello vacated a prior restraint order issued in October by Superior Court Judge Craig Corson, which barred The Trentonian newspaper from publishing stories regarding a 5-year-old Trenton boy allegedly caught bringing drugs to school twice in two months.
