The Bridgewater-based law firm Norris McLaughlin & Marcus was one of the “Companies that Care” honored recently at the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey Chairman’s Reception: Saluting the Generosity of Business. Norris McLaughlin was among the 39 companies named “Champions of Good Works” by a blue-ribbon panel of judges. The event was held on March 15, 2017, at Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville. The reception was dedicated to recognizing extraordinary acts of kindness from member companies and their employees. Norris McLaughlin and its attorneys have historically been committed to the communities where clients live and do business—to make them better places to live, work and play. The firm decided to start a personal charitable initiative, giving each attorney the opportunity to donate $100 to the charity or cause of his or her choice, and then report back on the gift.
