The Middlesex County Bar Association handed out its annual practice area awards at its 12th annual awards dinner, held March 22, 2017, at The Pines Manor in Edison. Among those honored were:
• Edward Santoro Jr., of South Plainfield, received the “Pro Bono Attorney of the Year Award.” He has served as a pro bono attorney for Central Jersey Legal Services for over 30 years, and in 2007 was awarded the “Equal Justice Medal” by Legal Services of New Jersey in recognition of his pro bono efforts on behalf of low-income clients in Middlesex County.
