Two months into an experiment with a new drunken-driving breath tester, the defense bar and the state attorney general are girding for a court battle over admissibility of its results.

In early December, the Pennsauken Police Department became the first in the state to substitute the Alcotest 7110 for the Breathalyzer. Since then, the device has been used on about 50 motorists.
