The municipal police department � the building and the police officers � is a "place of public accommodation" within the meaning of the Law Against Discrimination; here, where defendant alleged that the officers who responded to a domestic violence call denied him equal treatment on the basis of his race at his home and at the police station, the dismissal of the LAD claims, on the ground that the police department was not a place of public accommodation, is reversed.
