Just as there is a constitutional prohibition of warrantless searches of homes by thermal scanning devices that reveal heat emanations, warrantless searches of utility records that reveal the amount of electricity used in a home are also prohibited; additionally, polygraph evidence may be admitted at a suppression hearing, even in the absence of the consent of the State, when credibility is an issue.
