After denying the defendant’s omnibus motion to dismiss the indictment, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan ordered jury selection to start on March 25 in the case of People v. Donald J. Trump, 71543-23.

The 77-year-old defendant will stand trial on 34 counts of a plot to hide salacious information about his sexual indiscretions that would have repelled voters and damaged his candidacy in the 2016 presidential election.
