A Westchester jurist recently agreed to be admonished for a charge that he wrote letters of recommendation for two friends who were applying for pistol permits through the county, and two other impermissible acts, according to the Empire State’s judicial watchdog.
State Supreme Court Justice Thomas Quinones of Westchester County was also being charged by the state Commission on Judicial Conduct with engaging in ex parte communications, and failing to timely file his financial disclosure statement.
