On Thursday, trademark and intellectual property docketing automation software provider Alt Legal announced that it acquired Denver-based WeberMark, a trademark paralegal services company. WeberMark helps organizations with a variety of trademark needs, from conducting trademark searches to preparing and filing documents or responses with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
With the acquisition, Alt Legal, which has docketing software and trademark and infringement monitoring products, will now launch an IP paralegal service called Alt Legal Assist. In addition, WeberMark’s managing member and sole employee Amy Weber will also be joining the company.
