Former longtime Moody’s general counsel John Goggins will serve eight months in prison for failing to file federal income taxes on more than $54 million he earned from 2018 through 2021.
Goggins, who had served as legal chief of the New York-based ratings agency for 23 years, pleaded guilty in April to four counts of willful failure to file tax returns.
