I have been a Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry for more than 25 years, an expert witness for more than 20 years and was also a Lord Chancellor's / Special Medical Visitor with the Office of the Public Guardian for more than 15 years. I specialise in the assessment of mental capacity, in particular with regard to wills, gifting and powers of attorney, including retrospective assessment.
