Tax Advisory
Charlotte is a private wealth lawyer advising on estate and succession planning, trust law and general tax planning for international families and their family offices, and fiduciaries. Charlotte specialises in creating bespoke wealth structures for international clients. This involves the structuring of trusts and foundations, business succession planning and family governance, defensive structuring and structuring around investing sustainably. Often this includes working closely with a family to design a family constitution. Many of Charlotte’s clients originate from outside of the UK and she has particular experience in advising clients from the Middle East. Also, Charlotte advises trustees and beneficiaries in contentious matters, both onshore and offshore. She advises on issues relating to the validity of trusts, claims for removal of fiduciaries, investment disputes, the division of trust assets, applications to the court for directions and other complex issues arising in the administration of a trust.
