Professional Biography
As part of the Business Development team, Donna is responsible for engaging with clients and intermediaries to identify areas where Saffery Trust is best placed to add value. She initiates the onboarding and establishment of new clients and serves as a relationship manager, leveraging her extensive trust management background. Donna plays an integral role in the firm’s Investment Review Committee, undertaking quarterly performance reviews to ensure that the correct strategies are in place and that investments are performing in line with our requirements. Regularly recognised in industry listings, including as a NextGen leader, Donna exemplifies the firm’s four core values: integrity, enthusiasm, excellence, and collegiality. Donna has significant experience working with clients in the UK, South Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, as well as dealing with a varied asset base and diverse company and trust structures. She has authored numerous thought leadership articles for wealth industry publications and hosts lunch-and-learn sessions internally to share knowledge across the wider team. Donna is a full member of the Chartered Management Institute and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Question : What drew you to specialise in private client law/ wealth advisory?
Answer: I have always been interested in people and what matters to, and motivates, them. Working in the private client sector enables me to support them in meeting their objectives, which is extremely rewarding.

Answer: In Guernsey, it would definitely be Red for the beautiful view over the harbour and neighbouring islands.
