Helen McGhee is a Partner in the Joseph Hage Aaronson contentious tax team specialising in UK and international tax disputes involving HNW individuals and their family/ business enterprises. She is a Solicitor and Chartered Tax Adviser, a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners group and is a CEDR accredited mediator. Helen advises both individuals and corporates either engaged directly or as a second pair of eyes to an extensive network of professional firms and financial institutions. Helen is an industry leading specialist at running highly complex HMRC investigations where she has a proven track record of negotiating very favourable settlements. Her specialism is the taxation of non doms but she will turn her hand to a wide variety of contentious and advisory tax maters.

Answer: Some inspirational mentors and some meaty tax legislation to get my head into!

Question : With the evolving landscape of the private client world, what are recent trends or shifts you are excited to explore?
Answer: It will be interesting to see how the new non-dom/ LTR rules play out and their impact on dynastic wealth structuring.
Question : Where is your favourite place to take a peer for a cocktail or coffee?
Answer: Raffles OWO for a cosy cocktail at the moment but that will change when the sun comes out again!
