Professional Biography

I advise trustees and UK/international (U)HNW clients on a broad range of tax, trust and estate planning matters. I have particular experience in advising business owners and the owners of rural estates about succession planning and the applicable IHT and CGT reliefs. Much of my time is spent advising in the context of contentious and semi-contentious situations, including tax and domicile enquiries. I am Head of Tax Disputes at Collyer Bristow, and have been appointed as a fee-paid (part-time) Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Tax Chamber.
