John Bender heads the offshore trusts team at Bender Brothers & Co, an Anglo-Swiss family office historically linked to a FTSE-100 company. His group specialises in the implementation of residence planning through relocation services, trust protectorships and the selection of financial intermediaries. Non-domiciled client work takes him regularly to Switzerland, Italy, Malta, Ireland and the Gulf. Mr Bender heads the office’s investment committee for alternative and traditional assets in addition to an eminent body of Commonwealth trust lawyers specialising in fiduciary dispute resolution. After time in Hong Kong, he was educated at Eton and Harvard. Mr Bender speaks French, German, Spanish and Swedish.
