Question : What drew you to specialise in private client law/ wealth advisory?

Answer: The fact that no two cases and no two sets of family dynamics are ever the same. Not only does it keep things interesting, but it usually provides great scope for building strong relationships with clients and intermediaries.

Question : For lawyers entering private client law, what are key skills you think are essential?

Answer: Empathy, patience, inquisitiveness, commitment and good interpersonal skills.

Question : With the evolving landscape of the private client world, what are recent trends or shifts you are excited to explore?

Answer: I am looking forward to working with clients through the great wealth transfer and navigating the many and varied challenges it will engender.

Question : Where is your favourite place to take a peer for a cocktail or coffee?

Answer: For coffee with a peer, Dandy, Flour or The Yard in Jersey are the usual haunts. Cocktails are a rarer pleasure but I have recently enjoyed one with a peer at the bar in Pêtchi.
