Professional Biography

Shan is one of the leading King's Counsel practising in the private field internationally. She is primarily based in the Cayman Islands but travels the world advising and litigating in contentious and non-contentious matters that often involve complex trust or similar structures or in connection with complex estates. She has appeared in a number of the leading cases in these areas. Shan is also a mediator of trust and estates disputes and is frequently called upon to provide expert opinions on Cayman or other laws for use in proceedings in other directions. Shan also acts as a protector and as a trustee director of a private trust company.
