Professional Biography

I advise high-net worth individuals, trustees and fiduciaries on private capital disputes. My practice includes complex international trust litigation and family business disputes including shareholder disputes. I also advise on domestic and international succession disputes including challenges based on capacity, fraud, undue influence or forgery, proprietary estoppel disputes and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. I often act for elderly clients and my practice includes capacity and financial abuse work, particularly where there is an international element. I work closely with family lawyers to advise on trusts in divorce proceedings, post-nups and pre-nups. I regularly advise on injunctions arising out of international litigation. I am a CEDR qualified mediator.
