Charitable Planning and Philanthropy
With near a decade of experience in international development and the NGO sector, Tze-wei brings deep knowledge of charities and social impact to her advice to philanthropic foundations and private clients. She regularly speaks and writes about "wealth for good" and is known for her understanding of the increased mixed use of non-profit and for-profit tools in structuring "for good" legal vehicles. She is also active in advising on family office setup, family governance and succession, and integration of ESG across family philanthropy, investment and business. She was involved in setting up some of Hong Kong’s earliest social finance platforms, and she advises companies that are interested in the B Corp certification. She serves as board director of several Hong Kong charities, and is a founding board member of the international lawyer group Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers (GAIL). She is recognised as a Legal 500 APAC Rising Star.
