King & Spalding partner Joseph N. Akrotirianakis has entered an appearance for Israel-based Q Cyber Technologies Ltd. and subsidiary NSO Group Technologies Ltd. in a lawsuit accusing the companies of operating malware and spyware products that target Apple users. The suit, which alleges violations of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, was filed Nov. 23 in California Northern District Court by Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr on behalf of Apple. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Maxine M. Chesney, is 3:21-cv-09078, Apple Inc. v. NSO Group Technologies Ltd. et al.
