Walmart was hit with a consumer class action Monday in California Northern District Court over its Equate lidocaine patches. The complaint alleges that Walmart falsely labels its patches as 'maximum strength' while containing only 4% lidocaine, whereas competing products contain 5% lidocaine. The suit was filed by Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman; Levin Sedran & Berman; and the Shub Law Firm. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 4:22-cv-00430, Bechtel v.
