Beasley Allen Crow Methvin Portis & Miles and other law firms filed a consumer class action against Hyundai Motor America, the U.S. arm of the South Korean automaker, Hyundai Motor, the South Korean carmaker, and other defendants Tuesday in California Central District Court. The suit was filed on behalf of consumers of Hyundai vehicles equipped with 2.0L and 2.4L engines that are allegedly defective. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 8:21-cv-01057, Buettner v. Hyundai Motor America, Inc. et al.
