Television producer Dan Schneider sued Warner Brothers Discovery, Sony Pictures and 'Quiet on Set' producers for defamation on May 1 in California Superior Court for Los Angeles County. Schneider argues that the defendants falsely stated or implied that he sexually abused children who worked on his Nickelodeon television shows in the docuseries 'Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.' According to the complaint, the plaintiff's portrayal in the docuseries was a 'hit job' and 'destroyed [his] reputation and legacy.' Schneider is represented by Sullivan & Worcester and Moser Legal.
