X Corp., formerly known as Twitter, filed a trade secret lawsuit on Sept. 29 in California Superior Court for Los Angeles County accusing a former employee of leaking information to the media in order to embarrass Elon Musk. The lawsuit, filed by Zweiback, Fiset & Zalduendo, accuses a former X advertising account executive of misappropriating confidential information about X's ad revenue and sharing it with a writer for the New York Times and other journalists. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 23STCV23760, X Corp. v. Chen.
