Live Nation Entertainment, the County of San Bernardino and other defendants were slapped with a wrongful death lawsuit on Oct. 8 in California Superior Court for San Bernardino County. The court action was brought by the estate of Eli Galispi Rodriguez, who died of fentanyl poisoning while attending the 'Nocturnal Wonderland Festival.' According to the complaint, the county and festival organizers failed to properly screen attendees or provide medical services at the event despite knowledge that dangerous substances were likely to be present. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is CIVSB2325206, Rodriguez-v- Gillespie et al.
