Chubb's Federal Insurance filed a lawsuit over an alleged embezzlement scheme as subrogee of Town & Country Roofing on Aug. 24 in California Superior Court for San Joaquin County. The suit targets former Town & Country superintendent Cesar Alejandro Gallardo for allegedly falsifying timecards of employees who had either quit or were terminated, then cashing the fraudulently obtained paychecks via codefendant La Charrita Market.
