Dinsmore & Shohl filed a patent and trade dress infringement lawsuit Monday in California Southern District Court on behalf of Catalyst Lifestyle Ltd. The suit targets Elago Co. and Elyel Corp. over their waterproof case for AirPods, which are earphones for the IPhone. The suit contends that the defendants' case infringes on the plaintiff's EscapeCapsule waterproof AirPods case. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:22-cv-00536, Catalyst Lifestyle Limited v. Elago Co., Ltd et al.
