Lawyers at Hall Booth Smith on Wednesday removed a medical malpractice lawsuit against Capital Health Group Management and other defendants to Florida Northern District Court. The suit was filed by Brooks, LeBoeuf, Foster, Gwartney, Leace & Hobbs on behalf of the Estate of Shirley Collins, which alleges elder abuse and negligence at the hands of staff, leading to the contraction of COVID-19 and other personal injuries. The case is 1:22-cv-00064, Collins v. ST Augustine Plantation Operator LLC et al.
