The Commodity Futures Trading Commission sued Coquest Inc., Buttonwood LLC, Weva Properties and other defendants Wednesday in Texas Northern District Court. The complaint accuses the defendants of using nonpublic information about Coquest customers' trading activity in order to execute block trades on behalf of Buttonwood and Weva. Lawyers have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:21-cv-02599, Commodity Futures Trading Commission v. Coquest Inc. et al.
