Boston Scientific, a manufacturer of medical devices, was hit with a patent infringement lawsuit Wednesday in Florida Southern District Court. The suit, brought by the Law Office of Victoria E. Brieant on behalf of Datrec, asserts one patent pertaining to its 'Latitude Nxt' patient communication system. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-20064, Datrec, LLC v. Boston Scientific Corporation.
