Vernon J. Nagel, Richard K. Reece and Mark A. Black, senior executives with Acuity Brands, a lighting and building management company, have tapped Michael R. Smith and Benjamin Lee of King & Spalding as counsel in a pending securities lawsuit. The action was filed Oct. 1 in Georgia Northern District Court by Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd; Johnson Fistel; Shuman, Glen & Stecker; and VanOverbeke, Michaud & Timmony on behalf of Stephen L. Davis and the City of St. Clair Shores Police and Fire Retirement System. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Mark H. Cohen, is 1:21-cv-04067, Davis et al. v. Nagel et al.
