Footwear company Deckers Outdoor sued Steven Madden and Texas Shoe Shop Friday in California Central District Court for trademark and trade dress infringement. The suit, filed by Blakely Law Group, accuses the defendants of manufacturing, marketing and selling shoes that mimic protected elements of Deckers’ Teva brand 'Original Universal Sandal in 90’s Multi Colorway.' Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:22-cv-03835, Deckers Outdoor Corporation v. Steven Madden, Ltd et al.
