Carlton Fields filed a trademark infringement lawsuit Friday in Florida Middle District Court on behalf of hair care and beauty products manufacturer DeMert Brands. The suit pursues claims against Not My Mama's LLC, a natural personal care product manufacturer, for using the 'Not my mama's' mark which is confusingly similar mark to plaintiff's 'Not your mother's' mark. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 8:22-cv-01103, DeMert Brands, LLC v. Not My Mama's LLC.
